Everyone starts at 1500. Beating a higher-rated player gains more than beating a lower-rated one, and losing to one costs less. Your first 30 games move your rating by up to 40 points, then up to 20, so ratings with fewer than 30 games are marked Provisional.
Finish an online game at any pace except correspondence, as a guest or signed in, and you appear on the board. Offline and correspondence games are unrated. Sign up to keep your name and rating across devices.
Overall counts every mode; each mode chip is its own ladder (Protect the King, Four Corners, Soccer, Battle Royale, King of the Hill). Combined ranks humans and AIs together; Humans and AIs rank only that group, with ranks recounted within the view.
